Ice Cube has struck a deal to bring his movie Are We There Yet? to television. His production company, Cube Vision will produce the sitcom due to start June 2010.
The series will star Terry Crews as Nick (Cube’s character from the movie). It will air on TBS which has ordered 1o episodes with an option for an additional 9o episodes.
“Terry Crews is the perfect person to replace me as Nick,” Ice Cube said. “His physical comedy is undeniable.”
Ice Cube will have a recurring role on the sitcom.
No word on who will play Nia Long’s role from the movie.
The movie grossed over $82 million at the box office.
