HBO, the premium cable channel that's captivating enough for millions of people to shell out cash for, and others to intuitively steal from their neighbors have lined up a truly smashing repertoire of shows this season that has everyone talking, and those left out wishing they could join in. The main attraction of course is the return of the coveted "Entourage" show that has been placed on a pedestal by critics all around for its witty sense of humor, and often times ironically hilarious way of portraying what it's like to be a Hollywood elite, and a Hollywood elites inner circle of close to talentless individuals along for the ride. "True Blood" a somewhat new entry to the HBO line up in its second season has everything a hopeless romantic could want in a sitcom, mixing fictional creatures like vampires, and telepaths with steamy romance usually reserved for soft core porn, and your average episode of the Real World. There's really no question as to why the show has become a hit with women across the country but its liberal use of special effects, and super powered cast has drawn in the more masculine individuals among us. Be sure to catch it Sundays at 9 pm. |
