Essence Atkins got married too.
Essence Atkins married her fiance Jamie Mendez–who she met on Match.com–in Pasadena on Saturday. The two met on the dating site last Valentine’s Day. Interestingly, we’re told Match.com sponsored her wedding–their logo was on all the wedding favors and the open bar. And Chef G. Garvin catered the food
In attendance were her good friends Gabrielle Union (yes, Dwyane Wade was her date and he even Tweeted photos from the wedding), Sanaa Lathan, Steve Rifkind, AJ Johnson and many others.
