The highest paid College President is a Black Woman

The top paid President of an institution of higher learning is a Black woman.

Shirley Ann Jackson, the president of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, N.Y, tops the list of highest paid college Presidents in the country at $1.6 million. 23 Presidents made more than $1 million according to a survey by theChronicle of Higher Education.

Tailing Jackson on the list of top paid academia is David Sargent at Suffolk University in Boston, who made $1.5 million.
More college Presidents are expected to join the ranks of college President millionaires once the economy fully recovers.
