CONCERT REVIEW: REDMAN & METHOD MAN

Nokia Theatre, NYC
by Rodney Dunn

Well I guess the indicator of it being a good concert would be because it was sold out. It took nearly a half hour to get in but it was worth the wait. Ghostface Killah graced the stage with countless throw back songs. He also brought his son on stage to spit a couple bars. The crowd was full of many different type of people. The environment made it seem like it was a party rather than a concert.

Redman was full or energy if he felt the audience dying down he would hype them up again. Cedric the entertainer came out to show some love. Mr. Cedric look like he was having the time of his life. The Nokia Theater was a great place to hold the event. It gave you the feeling that you are in a theater and club, the best of both worlds. All in all it was a blast partying with that hip hop duo. I can honestly say everyone left full of energy and hype. The next show they have should sell out also. Guess we will have to wait to see but I truly believe its nothing but success.

When Method Man and Redman hit the stage that's when the crowd took a mind of its own people was jumping up in down rappin' with strangers. Everyone was having a good time. They took the time out to give tribute to Ol' Dirty Bastard and the late Michael Jackson. From the throwback songs to songs from the new album, Method Man and Redman proved that they still have what it takes to survive in the industry today. Hands down this concert was a success and would encourage anyone to go see that duo perform. The young rappers better look out cause they're back.
